Question 1- List 2+ people/groups the authors of Declaration of Independence probably expected would read?
--It was written for the American Colonists and the British government and probably everyone in the world.
Question 2- In what sense are "all men created equal?"
--All men were created by a "higher power", meaning "all men are created equal"
Question 3- According to the Declaration of Independence, who grants kings/governments the right to rule?
--The people are the ones who grant governments the right to rule. This is where voting comes in, people have the right to vote for who they fill will be best to help rule the country.
Question 4- When should people revolt? Should they do so often?
--People should revolt when the government is becoming corrupt. It's the Right of the People to alter the Government if they feel it's best for their safety and happiness.
Question 5- What did the colonists do to try to avoid declaring independence?
--By ignoring it. They refused to acknowledge the declaring of independence.
Question 6- Based on the language in this section, did the Declaration of Independence create a new country or 13 new states?
-- To me it sounds as if it created new states. It stats that the United Colonies should be "Independent States". This section repeats the word "States" a lot.
